I love that title.
Mainly because it's so true.
Don't get me wrong, being active...moving is always a good idea. In general, Americans today have all kinds of health issues from being too sedentary.
But did you know that if you overdo it, you can also UNDO the health benefits associated with exercise too?
In fact, studies show that people who follow the philosophy of running more (over 4 hours a week at a fast pace) to be healthier actually have the SAME health risks as someone who doesn't exercise at all according to the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
Yet, research any running app or training program and they will ALL have you run more to get better. Sure they lure you in with promises of getting off the couch and running a 5K in just a few short weeks but are these training programs helping or hurting you?

Which is why I’m so excited to share this new program I’ve been yammering on about all month.
You see, my friend Shira, of Mom Beyond Baby, is an avid runner. But she noticed after awhile that all the running she was doing to try and change her body was actually starting to work against her.
Hello hormonal disaster, weight gain, and injuries. In her words, she didn’t even look like she was a runner even though she was doing all the running.
Eventually after many programs, she decided to do something about it. She told me that she started to train to run instead of running to train.
And that’s when the magic started happening...
